I veganized my grandmother’s recipe for baking powder biscuits.  Just five ingredients.

Grandma’s Baking Powder Biscuits
2 cups flour ( I like 1 1/2 cup all-purpose and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour)
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 Tbsp cold Earth Balance butter or vegan margarine
¾ cup cold non-dairy milk

Sift flour, baking powder and salt in  a large bowl.  Cut in the cold margarine then add the milk slowly to make soft dough.  Roll the dough on a floured board and cut with biscuit cutter or an upturned glass.  Bake in greased pan at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Serve warm, with your margarine or your favourite jam.
